Better Uptime is a server monitoring tool with a free plan which offers 10 monitors, 3min checks, and email alerts.

Creating a Monitor

To create a new monitor go to monitors and click "Create monitor". Then enter the URL to monitor and select in what case the app should alert you. Click "Create monitor" and it is finished.

Status Pages

Better Uptime also provides Status pages which show whether the servers are up or not. To create one go to Status pages and click "Create status page". Then enter the Company name, Subdomain name, and Company Website URL. Go to "Structure" and drag all the monitors you want to be displayed on the Status page to the right-hand side. Go back to "Settings", scroll down and click "Save changes". The status page should then be created. To access the status page, use the URL subdomainname.betteruptime.com whith subdomain name being what was entered as the subdomain during the creation of the status page.
