IT/Hardware/Printers/Reset Tool
This is a piece of annoying software that Canon uses to confuse people and I bet even their own people.
Every printer seems to use a different version.
The 4718 version works with our beloved MG3670
The file is in IT/Hardware/Printers/Service Tools Just one standalone exe.
We recommend Windows 10. (any version should work if you have the right service tool)
Plug in the printer to power and into the computer via USB. Make sure the printer is powered down.
Hold down the cancel button. Hold down the Power button.
Release cancel and then press it 5 times. Release both the power button and the cancel button.
The printer will buzz and whirr till the top green led is solid.
Now you will see the printer attached to the service tool.
Set all the counters to 0. Choose the cassette for it to work.
Power off the printer
